With support from WWF Mongolia and other stakeholders, Viral Marketing Agency proudly spearheaded the campaign to promote the MNS 7042:2024 standard. This initiative focused on advocating for wildlife-friendly infrastructure, raising public awareness about the importance of protecting wildlife migration paths, and encouraging sustainable development practices. The campaign preparation began in September 2024, leading up to its official launch in December 2024, leveraging innovative content and educational outreach to inspire action and change.

Challenge

Infrastructure development often poses a significant threat to wildlife by disrupting migration routes and degrading ecosystems. Traditional infrastructure, such as barbed wire fences, has caused injuries and fatalities among animals, limiting their ability to migrate safely. The campaign faced the challenge of raising awareness about these issues while advocating for the adoption of the wildlife-friendly MNS 7042:2024 standard, which provides innovative solutions to ensure coexistence between nature and progress.


Strategy

The campaign utilized a multi-faceted strategy that combined educational outreach with engaging visual content. By highlighting the benefits of wildlife-friendly infrastructure through animation videos, posters, reels, and GIFs, we created a strong emotional connection with the audience. Social media platforms served as the primary channels for dissemination, allowing us to reach a broad demographic and spark meaningful discussions.

Additionally, the campaign emphasized the importance of education by introducing wildlife-friendly infrastructure into university curricula, ensuring future generations understand and prioritize sustainability.


Result

The campaign generated widespread engagement and impact, reaching a large audience and raising significant awareness about the MNS 7042:2024 standard and its vital role in protecting wildlife. Social media platforms became a hub for lively discussions, inspiring collective action to support wildlife conservation and sustainable development. Furthermore, the successful integration of wildlife-friendly infrastructure topics into university curricula ensures that future professionals will be equipped to prioritize sustainability in their work. Together, these efforts are shaping a more informed and environmentally conscious society, demonstrating how progress and nature can thrive hand in hand.
